Robert Allen Waltsak is a plein air landscape painter from New Jersey who draws his inspiration from the work of the Hudson River School. The pallette he uses was originally developed by the late Frank Vincent Dumond. Waltsak was born in 1944 in Newark, New Jersey.  He studied at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts (NSFIA), at the School of Visual Arts in New York, and the Ridgewood Art Institute with John Philip Osborne. He is a multiple prize winner at the Hudson River Art Association and the Ridgewood Art Institute.  Oil on canvas.
